Ian has been
tuning, servicing, and advising on pianos since
1981. He initially started his career with a major
Yamaha dealership in Newcastle, NSW, Australia and
then moved to continue his work in Perth, Western
Australia, before migrating to the USA in 1998.
Upon arriving in Baltimore, Ian joined the premier Steinway dealership. He not only excelled in retail, but also as Senior Customer Service Representative.

Ian has been an independent technician since 2006. He tunes and services pianos for concert artists and concert stages, teaching and recording studios, churches and synagogues, as well as for many private piano owners. He is an active member of the Baltimore chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild.
